Amakhala Game Reserve is located in the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa in the Addo area near Port Elizabeth.

This Lion Roars property has fabulous accommodation options and guests can choose from luxury safari tents, one bedrooms suites and two bedroom family suites.

The Luxury Safari Tents have one bedroom, ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning and the open plan lounge have a viewing deck.  The Luxury Family Safari Tent has 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with twin beds, the wooden decks offer 180 degree views.

The Luxury King Suite is an open plan suite with lounge and bedroom, featuring either a king bed or twin beds, the suite has a private deck for viewing and an outdoor shower.  The Luxury Family Suite has 2 bedrooms, a family lounge and outdoor deck, the main bedroom has an outdoor shower

The main lodge has a swimming pool, lounge and dining areas and a verandah for guests to view the waterholes.  game experiences can be arranged for guests where they can have the opportunity to see the Big Five.  The lodge has a boma where bush bbq's are held under the African Sky
