The park is home to over 165 Nile crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus), which are not bred for their skin or meat, but are simply there for the benefit of the public. The gardens are pleasant (many of the plants are labelled), there are copious birds (wild and caged), as well as a small collection of farm animals, a snack bar and a souvenir shop. Crocodiles don’t tend to do very much so a good time to visit is Wednesday or Sunday at 16.00 when they are fed.
