Mendoza Malbec tour

Bodega Achaval Ferrer is a boutique winery which produces a small amount of high quality red wine. They offer tours of their vineyard and wine tasting. Be sure to try Quimera and Malbec Mendoza.

Then travel to Catena Zapata one of Argentina’s most prestigious wine makers. It was this vineyard that alerted the world to the potential of Argentina’s wines.

As well as wines there is also a Mayan temple to explore surrounded by the vineyards. The wine it produces is so sought after it is incredibly hard to obtain a bottle in Argentina as most is exported to other countries.  The last leg of the tour is at Bodega Ruca Malén where you have the option to taste their entire wine list.

Have a delicious five course meal at the vineyard with excellent wine matching. Visitors also get the opportunity to blend their own wine and take a blindfolded taste test to see who has created the best blend.

Uco Valley tour

Bodega La Azul is a small winery near the Andes Mountains. On this tour you can taste 3 to 4 wines, the cabernet and Malbec wines are excellent.

The Azul Gran Reserva is one of their best wines, it spends two years in a barrel of French oak before being bottled and ready to drink. With only 1,000 bottles of wine produced it’s a taste only a few can experience.

Slightly further south is Bodega Salentein, these wine producers like to mix the old with the new using long celebrated wine making methods with the bold ingenuity of the new world. Sample their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and enjoy the sculptures and artwork that adorn the winery.

Moving further south we reach Bodega Andeluna situated at the bottom of the Andes with stunning views of the mountains. This winery offers high quality food and wine complete with luxurious seating areas, the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.
