Room 10.0 / 10 The island is stunning but the staff are what make the entire “Hurawahli experience” extra special, all very friendly , talkative and seem to have a genuine interest in your well-being which is lovely, they simply can’t do enough for you and Saam was our host who was absolutely wonderful and we plan to stay in touch with him which is lovely. Our housekeeper Ahmed was a delight and cleaned our room twice daily to an amazing standard. Rooms are incredibly spacious and well positioned on the lagoon end of the island. Romantic water villas are perfectly located to enjoy the sunsets every evening. The rooms are well equipped and the mini bar is best I’ve experienced and re-stocked daily. The island itself is beautiful and has a combination of both green areas and white sandy beaches. The bar, main restaurant along with the pool are all situated close by. The food is amazing and even spending 14 nights there we never once got bored with the fine selection of food on offer for breakfast and dinner (we rarely had any room for lunch) lol. The undersea restaurant experience is a must (incredibly expensive at £900 for dinner) but that was the same for all the activities and excursions so expensive but this did not stop us enjoying them including the scuba diving ($130 a dive which is extortionate, even with my instructor discount) but it’s the exchange rate being so poor which has not helped. The island appeals to those who are more environmentally conscious as it is good that they do not use plastic bottles which is a small step in the right direction and with the marine biology centre on the island it does give you an impression that they do try and care about the marine life in the area, although seeing baby octopus on the menu suggests that there might be a slight conflict of interest here but each to their own I guess. We could not fault the island at all and you can see why there are thousands of 5 star reviews on trip advisor we will certainly be adding another one! Thanks 🙏

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, we even collected names of people that had done over and above. We were only disapointed with our ambassador who we tipped at the beginning of the holiday and did not see again until we left and that was only because there were a few things we had asked him to sort out for us. Other than that the only words I can use are amazing and perfection!
