Due to weather we did have some issues with cancellations. Unfortunately our ambassador was not very organised. We were told to go to reception in the morning (a good 15/20 min walk from our Ocean Villa) as they decided the weather was ok to snorkel, to then find it was cancelled when we got there and we were not told in advance, as we had to annoyingly lug around the snorkelling gear. The next day we were told to rush to reception just 15 mins before, that we might be able to snorkel, this time we rushed to reception which was very tough for Kiren as they didn’t send a buggy, to find out that actually because of the weather and our ability to swim was not good enough that we couldn’t go - they knew in advance (after filling their forms in and speaking to Iyaz many times that we were not good swimmers) and yet he did not give us any of this information and wasted our time and again we were lugging our snorkelling equipment around. My wife, which they were well aware of, struggles to walk long distances sometimes and so the fact that we had to rush also was ridiculous and so it wiped her out for the rest of that day. We had a similar issue on the day we were leaving where they said they would get breakfast to us at a certain time and also a buggy to help us get to reception. However, breakfast came to us the minute we were leaving and they said “we can’t get you a buggy” so then we rushed to reception once again in order to not be delayed.
Yes we enjoyed our time but it could have been nicer having someone who was organised looking after us and the weather wasn’t the best. The food buffet was quite average, generally tasteless however some dishes now and then were good. The food at the restaurants were nice however in Roma, however the Grouper grill wasn’t worth the time. |

Reception staff needs to be more friendly and welcoming. Smile makes lots of difference.
Arrival at Male airport was excellent. We were taken to the lounge where we can relax until our seaplane ready. It would be more memorable if same service was given on the departure. Long waiting haul between our journey took us nearly 24 hours to reach home. This was very tiring and nearly forgot good thing about holiday.
