This luxury hotel has a desirable position in the heart of the Sacred Valley. Set adjacent to the flowing waters of the Urubamba River, the Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado is in a prime spot for all major tourist attractions in the surrounding area including Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo. Whether you enjoy the thrill of white water rafting, prefer a more serene yoga class on the river bank or getting up close to nature, this hotel has something to offer each guest. All rooms are constructed from natural stones and wood and offer views of the river and Sacred Valley. All rooms are unique in their design and are vibrantly decorated in local style and with traditional fabrics such as alpaca wools. There is a bar and 2 restaurants on site with all ingredients being sourced locally and from the hotel's very own ecological garden. This hotel is designed to resemble a Peruvian Village and it certainly does continue this theme with the activities on offer. In additional to the usual facilities on offer including a beautiful pool and an Andean-style spa, why not attend a Shaman ceremony or feed milk to the hotel's baby alpacas! Every need is tended to here and so at the end of the day, snuggle up with a cup of muna tea whilst star gazing and head to bed with a cosy hot water bottle and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in nature.

Is my booking protected?
Yes – If you book flights and hotels with us then you are fully protected under the ATOL scheme. If you buy hotels without flights then ATOL does not apply (as ATOL only applies to package holidays) but we take out supplier failure insurance on your behalf in case any of the travel providers go bust.
