This hotel has a picturesque location in the stunning Sacred Valley and is only 25 minutes from the train station and the famous ruins of Ollantaytambo. It sits alongside the beautiful Urubamba river and is the ideal choice for those looking for some peace and tranquillity on their trip to Peru. One of the most famous sites in Peru is, of course, Machu Picchu and you can reach this by train in about 1 hour and a half with several daily departures. Some other great spots to visit nearby are Pisac and Chinchero which both have fantastic authentic markets to discover and for those looking for more history then the archaeological ruins of nearby Maras & Moray would be a great option.

Del Pilar Ollantaytambo is a lovely boutique accommodation with 16 charming rooms and 2 family bungalows which are also a great option for groups. They have all been renovated to ensure you have a warm and comfortable stay and the decoration is elegant and tasteful with its neutral colours The local Peruvian touches with the choice of textiles and artwork remind you that you are in a very special place in the world, as do the incredible mountainous and valley views which surround you. All rooms are well equipped with WIFI, Cable TV, heating, minibar and safety deposit box.

The reception operates 24/7 and has great service organising currency exchange, as well as the tour desk from which you will be able to book some fantastic excursions in and around the Sacred Valley for whatever type of experience you are looking for be it historical, cultural or gastronomical. There is a business centre which is perfect for people on a work trip and the games room complete with pool, poker and PS4 is quite the hit. Peru is famous for its delicious cuisine and the Aymuray restaurant really celebrates its culture serving tantalising dishes breakfast, lunch and dinner and even sources many of its ingredients from its own bio garden. Some popular Peruvian dishes are the famous Ceviche and Lomo Saltado but fear not pizza is also on the menu, along with some other international classics. At the end of a busy day sightseeing unwind with a Pisco sour at the bar or treat yourself to a massage designed to help you relax and refresh with their innovative techniques.

Is my booking protected?
Yes – If you book flights and hotels with us then you are fully protected under the ATOL scheme. If you buy hotels without flights then ATOL does not apply (as ATOL only applies to package holidays) but we take out supplier failure insurance on your behalf in case any of the travel providers go bust.
